The Loens Hotel ( Bed & Breakfast ) was established in January, 1997. Its name is based on the famous
poet Hermann Loens, and is conveniently situated at the edge of the City
of Hannover.

Single room about 10 to 16 square meters, Double room about 16 to 20 square meters
We are a small family-owned hotel business, offering a pleasant and cosy atmosphere. Our guests are not
simply treated as a number. We are trying to fulfil each individual's wishes and turn them into reality.

Hermann Loens
29.08.1866 - 26.09.1914
Author of the North - German heather region. His poetry was set to music and validated as folk music.
He was an outstanding observer of nature and became the poet of the youth movement. He attended school
at Münster. He studied medicine and the science of nature in Münster, Greifswald/Göttingen. In 1891 he
became an editor for the Hannover newspaper and magazines as well as the editor of the
Schaumburg-Lippischen Country newspaper. From 1912 to 1914 he was a freelance writer. As an army volunteer,
he was killed in action in 1914 and was buried in Fallingbostel.

Cancellations or changes later or no-show, are computed with 80 per cent of the price of all overnight accommodation.
Pets are unfortunately not allowed.
The sub-letting or re-letting of the rooms provided for use and the use
thereof for any purposes other than those of lodging is not permitted.

Approach
Arrival by car
Take Motorway A2 towards Dortmund. Exit A2 at Garbsen-Ost. Proceed onto the German Federal Highway B6
direction Neustadt-Nienburg. Continue straight and count 6 traffic lights to take a right turn onto
Hermann-Loens-Str. Follow Hermann-Loens-Str around to the right for about 300 meters where Loens Hotel
is on the right.
With public transportation
From Hannover Central Station to Hannover - Kroepke approx. 7 min. walk, than take the tram nr. 4 with
direction Garbsen. You will arrive in Marienwerder - Wissenschaftspark. From Marienwerder
- Wissenschaftspark take the bus line nr. 440 or 450. Arrival Berenbostel ( Rote Reihe by Post).
From the bus station take the 1st street left ( Hermann-Loens-Strasse ), approx. 300m walk, where
Loens Hotel is on the left.
