UPDATE phpRechnung 1.6 Test3.01 to phpRechnung 1.6.4

!!! IMPORTANT NOTE !!!

Before you start an UPDATE please make a dump of your data.

mysqldump -u 'username' -p --add-drop-table 'databasename' > phprechnung.sql

Create Tables

You must import the new tables in the same database as phpRechnung 1.6 Test3.01

mysql -u 'username' -p 'databasename' < phprechnung_1_6_4_update.sql

!!! Note !!!

If you use phpMyAdmin first please select the data base, then select Import,
Location of the text file: select suitable file: phprechnung_1_6_4_update.sql
and click on Go.

You will see a message something like this:

Import has been successfully finished, 127 queries executed.

!!! IMPORTANT NOTE !!!

Please don't insert the SQL file into the field Run SQL query/queries on database.
The data will be inserted without any errors, but thereafter, a login is no longer possible.

Install phpRechnung

Unpack phpRechnung_1_6_4.tar.gz - tar zxvf phpRechnung_1_6_4.tar.gz
Copy the directory ' phpRechnung ' to your Web server e. g. /var/www
( or change the name phpRechnung to phpInvoice )

Further information which files still to be adapted, you will find in the README-EN.

If you have changed the value of '$pschluessel' ( 1.6 Test3.01 ) in 'phprechnung.inc.php'
so please insert this value also in '$pkeyOld' ( 1.6.4 ).

Now we are ready for the first login.

Username is 'admin' password is also 'admin'

After the first login you will be prompted to accept
the phpRechnung License ( GPL V2 ).

This is needed only once per user.

When you click on 'Accept' you will be redirected to the start page.

Tables that will not be updated:

'category' - Category
'methodofpay' - Method Of Payment
'posgroup' - Position / Article - Group
'tax' - Tax

Now is the right time if you wish to change the predefined descriptions.
These descriptions will be also saved in offers/invoices ...

UPDATE

On start page please click on 'Update' ( left side down )
You will be redirected to the Update page. Now click on 'Update Login'

If you have changed the value of '$pschluessel' ( 1.6 Test3.01 ) in 'phprechnung.inc.php'
and have inserted them into '$pkeyOld' ( 1.6.4 ), please insert the same value from
'$pkeyOld' ( 1.6.4 ) into '$pkey' ( 1.6.4 ).

If your value of '$pschluessel' ( 1.6 Test3.01 ) was not changed, so there are no more
changes todo in 'phprechnung.inc.php'. From this point '$pkeyOld' ( 1.6.4 ) is not
needed anymore.

In Germany on 01.01.2007 the tax was changed from 16% to 19%.

The files 'invoiceposf.php' and 'offerposf.php' in directory 'update' was
modified so that invoices/offers created before 01.01.2007 have again the correct tax.

If you have another taxes, than you need to make the changes manually
before you start the update.

The same for Tax 2 if changed.

In both files please adapt $Pos_Group = "Hotel";

Of course the group must be present before

Now please logout and login again as 'admin'

The password is the same as in phpRechnung 1.6 Test3.01

On start page please click again on 'Update' ( left side down )
and now on 'Update phpRechnung'.

Depend on your data this procedure can take some time.

!!! WARNING, DURING THE UPDATE PROCEDURE DON'T CLICK ON STOP LOADING !!!
!!! OTHERWISE YOU HAVE TO START AGAIN FROM THE BEGINNING !!!

During the UPDATE you will see the following message:

phpRechnung 1.6.4 UPDATE... Please wait, this can take some time.

After the UPDATE has finished you will see the following message:

Congratulation, phpRechnung was succesfully updated.
